Our Hermitage openly welcomes women who would like to consider becoming members of our monastic community. Although we are in the world, we strive not to be of the world. We live in poverty and chastity, offering ourselves to serve God.
These monastic principles, established from the beginning of monasticism, remind us that the world belongs to God and we surrender ourselves solely to his service, seeking to "transfigure" the world and not to be "disfigured" by the world. This is why monastics pray for the entire world.
